problem adding group
« on: November 25, 2010, 03:23:46 am »

I added a User Defined Group in my phpBB 3.0.7-PL1 board (details here:  http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,68255.msg338363.html#msg338363 ).  I called the group GalleryAdmin, and assigned a user to it - within phpBB, it has the privileges of any registered user; I intend to extend additional privileges to users in this group within the gallery.

After creating the group, I went to my Coppermine gallery and selected "Groups", expecting the groups to synchronize - but, GalleryAdmin didn't appear.  Any ideas about what I've done incorrectly?

Use post-based groups?:  ?  I don't think so - not sure what this means

This is what it does. You need to enable that to get imported groups.

It's actually named "Use bridge app custom groups?", the docs are using an older name for that setting there.

Wow!  You get credit not only for solving my problem - but, for remembering an outstanding question I had from a previous problem!

That worked.  Once again - thanks much.
