Flash update with proxy problem
« on: January 20, 2011, 02:02:51 am »

I am using Coppermine 1.5.12 bridged with pbpBB3.  When I try to use the Flash Upload when behind a proxy I get a Windows prompt to enter my username and password then an "Upload Error: 407" if I hit cancel.  From my Google searching it appears this is a problem with the SWF Uploader, but nothing was related to Coppermine.

Is there anything that can be done about this?  I have attached a screen shot of the error.

Thanks,
Douglas

Darn it, I mean upload, not update.

What happens if you enter the credentials as requested? I'm also sitting behind a proxy server (which does not require authentication) and don't have any problems with the flash uploader.

It stalls out.  I entered the domain\username and password, however it has been sitting for a couple hours now with no progress in uploading the files.  I tried to hit the little red X to cancel the upload for that individual file and it crashed the SWF plugin.

I'm afraid that I cannot help you with your issue. But you can try to use the JUpload plugin or use the batch-add feature if you're the admin of the gallery.
