Turning off informational message
« on: November 21, 2010, 01:10:54 am »

The content in my gallery will be strictly uploaded by administrators (users have opportunity to load their own content on my phpBB Forum, which I will bridge).  I've renamed my user gallery to serve as a category, but I'm getting the informational message "there are no user galleries" (attached screenshot).

This thread alludes to a way to suppress it:

However, it's not immediately obvious to me where in my theme.php I can comment it out.  Can someone give me a hint?

Thanks
Dan

Don't rename the user galleries category. Just leave it alone.

Is there a way to make it not visible to registered users?  Otherwise, it's vestigial - and will only raise questions.  I only wanted to rename it (per the documentation) as a first step in changing the semantic.  But I'm happy to leave it be, if I can suppress it.

It's only displayed when there are albums inside it. Empty it and it will go away.

Oh!  Well, that's easy.  Thanks much!
