How about e107 upgrades to coppermine.
E107 is a cms, and there are coppermine for cms versions, but whether they are compatable with e107 I don't know.  
I do believe that there's a mod available on the e107 boards though.
If anyone wants to write a bridge file, it would be welcome.

As Casper noted, the e107 port of Coppermine is maintained by the e107 group.  You should ask them if an when they will release instructions on how to do what you ask.
