remove the Create Albums function to users.
« on: November 13, 2010, 03:34:20 pm »

Hi to the community! I am new to using Coppermine and really love it so far but I have a special request. I will use Coppermine as a Photo contest.

I have created 6 categories: people, city, landscape, nature, creative, architecture.  Is it possible to remove the Create Albums function then the users are forced to upload their pictures in the 6 available categories? I want the pictures directly under categories not in albums.

Anybody has a suggestion to manage my photo contest the best way in term of Coppermine settings?

Thanks for your help!

Go to your group manager, and set

Public albums upload = Yes.  Personal gallery = No
