Want changes to upload file page
« on: November 06, 2010, 04:36:51 pm »

I am setting up a muliuser photo site for people to share medical images www.retinagallery.com  .

I would like the 'upload file' page to be more intuitive.  When you upload photos to facebook, you are asked to create an album at the time of the upload.  I would like my site to behave similarly.  It is counterintuitive, I think, to create an empty album and then upload files.  Most people will want to create the album at the time of the file upload.

I would like the upload file page to first prompt to create an album or to choose from an existing album and then to take the file uploads to that album.

Also, the more prompts and instructions to the user the better.

Sorry about not posting a budget.  I am willing to pay 300 dollars for a nice upload page that incorporates a create album option that is easy to use.  I am using the theme 'curves'.  My homepage is www.retinagallery.com.  I have not set up a test user account yet but can.

I am in no rush for the code to be ready.  Ideally, I would like it as a plugin that could work with any of the themes.  It would also be nice to have it survive coppermine upgrades, so I am not locked into the current code version once I adopt the page.  I am OK at using HTML and PHP.  Honestly, the coppermine code is beyond me.  I have no idea how to use the Tokens and I'm not good with constants.  So, if someone makes me something and explains how to fix it if there is a problem, with a lot of comments, that would be best.
