My gallery is now running 1.5.8. Theme is classic v_strip.
http://www.sharpos-world.co.uk/kc/index.phpI was having problems with the way the intermediate image page was displayed using latest version of Firefox, but setting "File information is visible by default" seemed to be the solution, as it forced the "file nn/nnn" heading to consistently appear at the top of the page. Without the "file information" being displayed, the "file nn/nnn" heading would sometimes appear further down the page, depending on whether there were any comments posted, taking the content of the page well below the bottom of the screen.
Then I noticed there was still an intermittent problem with IE8, even with the settings above. Setting "compatibility view" seemed to fix the problem for me, but will other IE8 users know to do that?
The problem can be seen using your 1.5 demo gallery, as the following screen images will show. "Full" shows a screen print where the top of the page is at the top of the screen, but "part" shows it with file 4/4 at the top of the screen. I could go backwards & forwards through the 4 images, sometimes all would appear the same way as 4/4 but occasionally one of the others would show like "full".
(Unfortunately, since trying to explain this accurately in detail, I have discovered that if Firefox is set to "full screen" there is still a variation in the way the page is displayed, but if we keep this topic purely on IE8. Yes, I have done many searches on this problem and realise IE is not too popular here)
