Fatal Error: (blank)

I went to upload photos to my gallery today and was greeted with "Fatal error:". That's it, no further explanation. I came over here and saw that I'd missed some new releases, so upgraded to 1.5.8, but the error persists. I upgraded the gallery on a separate website with no trouble, so it's obviously site specific. What should I do now?

Thank you! I couldn't find that in the help docs. Debug told me to repair the database, and now it's working just fine. Can someone mark this as resolved?
