Transfering files from another website directory?
« on: October 25, 2010, 02:41:50 am »

I set up Coppermine on my website just a short while ago using my hosting service's install utility, and I've just registered here a few minutes ago.  So I have zero experience so far with Coppermine.

My question is a simple one: I have a lot of files already located in a directory at my website.  Is it possible to tell Coppermine somehow to retrieve them from this directory?  I've looked through the admin area, including a list of plugins, and can't seem to find anything that would indicate that this is possible.  But I figure it never hurts to ask, so I'm a askin'.

Thanks,
Michael

We can't support Auto-Installers as they cause many problems => http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/auto-installers.htm
Please upgrade your site using the the method here => http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/upgrading.htm#upgrade_any

When you have completed those steps please post a link. => http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,55415.msg270616.html#msg270616
You are also required to read the docs before posting => http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/uploading_batch-add.htm
