General Configuration Settings
« on: October 07, 2010, 07:57:51 pm »

I've entered the name of my gallery in the text field. The name I've entered isn't appearing as the title. The title displayed still says "My Gallery" in the web browser's title bar.

And, I've entered a short description of my gallery in the text field. The name I entered isn't appearing is still displayed as "My pictures from..."

I saved the configuration settings....why aren't my new settings showing?

Eh? Do you have a gallery? If you do then you must have a link to it. How else do you get to it, install it etc?

I need step by step directions please.  I don't understand "post a link to my gallery". Here's is what I have tried:
1) Logged in to my URL (www.joeandjackie.net)
2) I click on the Admin Control then General Settings
3) I noticed 'index.php' was in the "URL of your home page" blank
4) I scrolled down and clicked "save new configuration"
5) ...nothing changed
6) Come to think of it...I didn't have this problem with a default theme.  Maybe it is because I uploaded the "Siteground 5" Simple Script Theme?? Is something wrong with it??

http://www.joeandjackie.net/ was the link to your gallery. That is what we were asking for. Without that we were unable to take a look.

Yes, it is your theme that is the problem. You will have to talk to siteground regarding their themes.

You can prove it by browsing your site via this link - http://www.joeandjackie.net/index.php?theme=curve

To return you your siteground them afterwards click this link - http://www.joeandjackie.net/index.php?theme=xxx

Thank you ... I feel like I am losing my mind though. I am going to need something less complicated. Can you recommend a theme that works well?
