Upgrading website, have a question
« on: September 16, 2010, 08:50:22 am »

Hello,

I searched for this and read the documentation, so unless I missed something, I could not find anything. I am upgrading my website, I currently had v1.4.18, now I am upgraded to the new version.  My question is, with my old gallery, I had specific information for most of my photos under the description.  Is there a way for me to copy-and-paste a file so I do not have to copy-and-paste all of them into the descriptions again.

Thanks in advance.

Justin

I just realized that I failed to mention that I am changing host companies and had to completely reinstall Coppermine. I understand that just upgrading would not change anything, but a clean install got rid of all of that.

Thanks

Thanks Jeff.

--I did not mean to mark it solved, that was an error on my part.

--The link to my gallery is: http://www.justinspolicecollection.com/collection/index.php

--I did not backup my database as I had no idea how to do so, now that I do will look and see if this will work for me.

Thanks for the reply and I will do some reading.

I removed the 'solved' status.

I don't understand your issue. You have specific information - how did you enter that information? I assume it has been done with a plugin like MiniCMS?
