Hi all I'm new to Coppermine. I have installed 1.5 and cannot see where to change the theme. There is no drop-down menu as in the demos. Also I want to put  club logo or name on the gallery and cant' see how to do it. Any help is appreciated

Just thought I'd add... I am using IE8 and Firefox. I don't have themes in my config menu and actually don't have any config items in the menu except for:
Keyword manager, plugin manager, bridge manager and Update database
It's really odd I had no errors in installation

Click on the config button itself to get to the config menu.

As for the selector on the demo page it is specially coded just for the demo. You can enable a theme selector but you will need to research how to do it from the docs. Same for adding your own logo, all the information is in the docs. You will only need to know a little html/css to do it.

@Phil, hi I did click on the config button. There are no options in the menu for themes (see note above). That's the whole problem and I don't know why it is happening.

according to the docs.. a theme selector should be available in the display. (I know in a previous version of coppermine about a year ago, I had no trouble with this)

Will you need the admin login?

By default users cannot see the theme selector list in that theme. You need to add a token to your custom theme as outlined here - http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/theme_template.htm#theme_template_theme_select_list

As for not being ably to change the theme as an admin, are you seeing all the config options when you click the config button? - http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/configuration.htm

Thanks Phil, Users should not be able to change the theme but admin should be.
When I login as an administrator the only options in the Config menu are:
- Keyword manager
- Plugin manager
- Bridge manager
- Update database.

This is where my frustration has been sourced!
Also I need to know where to add our logo rather than 'your gallery name'. My html etc... is fine, just need to know which files.
I had thought it was a setting somewhere, but i must have been wrong about that.

So you can see the config menu? If you click on the word "config" it will bring up the additional options.

The logo is not changed in this menu however. To change that you need to create a custom theme. All that is explained in the docs - http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/theme_create.htm#theme_create

It explains that all the files are in the themes directory and what you need to edit.

Hi Phil
Oh no I am such an idiot. When I clicked Config, the menu dropdown appeared. However I needed to double-click it to have all the config settings appear on the page. I am so sorry, so used to hitting a menu and then selecting from an options list rather than the'root' item activating a page display also.
