Changing allowed files types
« on: July 18, 2010, 05:58:15 pm »

I am trying to upload file types which are not from the default preset...

example
mp4 fv4 aac m4a docx pptx xlsx rar

Now i have modified the setting in config-> file setting... but even with the added file types, the system will not import the above file types...

I have tried both normal upload, and batch upload...

in normal it says, this file type is not allowed and gives me which ones are
in batch add it goes to the designated album and says album is empty

Am i doing something wrong? or is there something wrong with the database?
i have checked the database, the above file types are not there...

any suggestions? (i am new)

Nope, simply mark your thread as solved by clicking the little tick on the corner.

When other users are searching for answers seing thread marked as solved makes it easier to find the good ones rahter than trolling through them all. We cannot click the tick for you as we don't know whether you are happy with the answers given which is why we ask.
