User Gallery/Pictures not showing after bridging
« on: July 17, 2010, 07:54:41 am »

Hello all,

I used the Coppermine 1.5.6 and SMF2 RC3 and did the bridging and for the most part it is working. However i have this problem for the user gallery. Other than my own administrator account which can show my own gallery, other user's gallery albums are not showing up under the User galleries. Also when they try to add a picture into their own gallery. is shows after being uploaded and saved but once they leave that page it disappears (although the files have been uploaded into their folders (checked using FTP) and the sql entries are in the db).

Also in the user manager list, i can see that the the number of photos and total upload size is there. Not sure if it is because the users are not in the Coppermine DB but in the SMF2 DB.

Thank you in Advance!

Did you enable upload approval on Coppermine's groups control panel? If yes, allow the uploads performed by your users. I have created a new album and uploaded some pics to it: http://tango.kicks-ass.org/CPG-Tango/thumbnails.php?album=38

Create a screenshot of your groups control panel and attach that screenshot to your posting.

Hello Joachim,

I checked the groups and it reverted back to the default settings making upload approval a yes by default. Guess the most likely reason is i disabled the bridge which changed all settings and on my end assumed that it was still as before. Changed it to no and it is working as it should now.

Sorry for this inconvenience and thank you for your quick reply and guidance.
