search option
« on: June 10, 2010, 11:01:59 pm »

Hello,

Is there any script or method of automatic transfer of filenames into keywords fields so they can appear below search field.

Best wishes,

This one is replied in the post: "[Solved]: utils.php, filename to keyword instead to title."
Please use MySQL command UPDATE as said in that post.

@all: veki is trying to post a reference to http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,65573.msg326623.html#msg326623

@veki: as suggested already, posting links is an excellent way to resolve many issues. Additionally, you might want to start respecting board rules. In this particular case: Common policies: Resolve your threads

I have no idea what you're trying to say: what "image in instructions" and what "image in forums"?

There is in your link to post about rule  of marking post as solved image that describe what to click in order to mark post as solved. That part of interface in forum is different.
Thus, someone has to guess what is right to do. My suggestion is to update that part and make it identical to what is present in the graphical interface at the moment.
In addition, that part is not created according to accessibility guidelines and rules and persons with disabilities are not able to use this forum efficiently. Adding tooltips to important functions as marking post to be solved will make that process much easier.  Thus, when someone point cursor on "check icon" tooltip should show text "solved" or so.
However, I support your intention to foster clean and tidy sorting out of the messages.

With best wishes,

Veki

Can't replicate - the screenshot shows exactly the same thing that I see live. Please attach a screenshot of how things look for you.

If you open image resolve.jpg that is in the post that describe resolving of topic you will see that it is different from what you and me see in the current forum.  Anyway, insertion of tooltips will increase usability and accessibility for persons with disabilities.

No, it's not clear, that's why I have asked you to attach a screenshot.
