Put logo on pictures
« on: June 02, 2004, 01:28:09 pm »

Thanks for the best free photoalbum on the web.

I think a good feature would be, to be abble to turn on a script that puts the users website logo on all the pictures when they are added to the database. It can be done in PHP, but I havent got the time to work a lot with it myself.

Sorry if my english is bad, im from Denmark  ::)

this is called "watermark" and there are several hacks that will do this (take a look at the stickies in the mods board). As on-the-fly watermarking puts the webserver's resources under stress, I recommend applying the logo before upload though.

No.  It's not something we consider to be a core requirement.  Any watermarking mods that work with 1.3.2 should work with 1.4 with minor corrections (if needed).
