In order to de-clutter, I have applied the following solutions to my website, http://www.lucitphoto.com

Infos aus der Album-Übersicht löschen :

Album view counting  :

Topic: how to remove TITLE + - FILENAME +- DATE +- etc order sorting :
http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,48218.0.html

I edited theme.php and included the above in a number of themes and have tested them (after renaming the themes). See attached theme.php. (I notice that Cpg 1.5.x config menu no longer has the option to set so unlogged users can select different themes from a drop-down menu, as with cpg 1.4.x., or have I missed it?)

Donovan's plugin Final Extract for cpg1.5.x v1.1 works very well and removes extraneous buttons. Right on, Don!  8) How about this plugin also enables redefining these buttons, such as for a different link?

Album List View in the config menu has options to modify the Contents of the main pageImage View and Thumbnail View also have useful options for more de-cluttering, while 'x Albums on x Page(s)' and x files in x albums and x categories with x comments viewed x times' can be removed by unticking Display Stats on Index page in Logging and Statistics.  I am still searching for an easy solution on how to remove 'Category' , 'Albums' and 'File' counts from thumbnail pages ::).

Although these solutions work, they are not in an organised package. Perhaps someone with the necessary skills who feels challenged or inspired, would be able to integrate these options into a future version of Coppermine, or develop a plugin offering these options. Sometimes 'a little less is a lot more'.

In which aspect is this a feature request?

Features usually add to a package. My suggestion is for a feature that has the ability to select which features/ options to use or display, and which to remove. If one looks at a default Coppermine installation, there is a lot of information that one might not necessarily want to display. Donovan's Final Extract plugin removes some buttons, and should become a feature in future versions of Coppermine, perhaps even expanding the functionality of the buttons, allowing admin to rename and redirect to another page, as per the Custom Menu Link in the config menu, in other words, more customisation please!

I'm sorry if I have incorrectly posted this as a feature request. If so, perhaps you could suggest where I should post this? Thanks.
