Batch process entire directory structure?
« on: June 02, 2010, 05:01:59 am »

Is there any way to process an entire directory with subdirectories?  Everything I've read says you can only do one folder at a time, which wont work for me.

I shoot lots of events, and they look like this:

Event
  -Group A
    -10am
        [lots of photos]
    -11am
        [lots of photos]
  -Group B
    -1030am
       [lots of photos]
  -etc

Thanks,
-brian

Sweet! Thanks!  Not sure how I missed that while looking at the 1.5 plugins.  Now... how about something like the "Photo Shop" cart plugin for 1.5?

Please play the game with us. One question per thread, always post a link to your gallery, don't ask for different versions of plugins. We are too small a team to have to go through all these threads.

Don't worry you wont hear from me again, this software program is too strict for me (not to mention the forums, sheesh).  It's very limiting as to what it allows me to customize out of the box and tends to force options that you devs feel is a must have no matter what.  For instance, the landing page is always "latest photos" and "random photos".   I appreciate your hard work and having the option of this free software, but I was hoping that it would be a bit more flexible.  Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I'd never find out since I get yelled at every time I post.

Sorry, I mean to add, I didn't see why a link to my site is important, I was asking a generic question.  But FWIW: http://caliphotography.com/photos-cop/  .  As you can see its a mess.  If I do post any more, I will be sure to strictly abide by forum rules.

Thanks,

Relax. Your frustration is misguided. Had you read the docs, or even clicked the little help icon throughout the admin config screen(s), you'd have realized that this is probably the most configurable and customizable gallery script anywhere.

http://caliphotography.com/photos-cop/docs/en/configuration.htm#admin_album_list_content

Very basic config settings. Please read your documentation before posting such nonsense.
