bridging with vbulletin 4.0.0
« on: June 01, 2010, 08:14:20 pm »

Hello,

its my first time using coppmine and i was REALLY pleased until i created a backup on sunday after 2 weeks usage the error showed.

It said in the doc that it just supports vbulletin 3.x.x but i thought id give it a go anyways, and it worked perfectly.

No errors or nothing, my users were very pleased.

The error that ocurred after i created a backup was this:

Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to UDB database !

MySQL said:

I tried to recover the gallery from bridgemgr.php to turn the bridgemanager of, and that worked, but it still wont bridge like before.

Im a noob, so please explain in details.

Sorry, we cannot provide support over MSN or any other off forum method. The point of this support forum is to allow others to find answers using the search facility so it must be visible.

It is also a bad idea to publish your email addy on a site such as this unless you want loads of spam. I've edited it out of your post.

What did you do to backup? Did it fail immediately after you backup? Did you backup both files and the database?

That's useless. We need a non-admin test user account of the bridging app, not of coppermine ::)

You haven't done as suggested in http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,24032.0.html although you have been told. You have caused a lot of extra moderation effort only by doing things you were not supposed to do. Why exactly should we support you if you don't play by the rules?
