images with "normal" in the filename
« on: May 31, 2004, 12:27:43 am »

Hello there,
I was looking using ftp at the place where the images are kept, I see there are thumbs created but why are there files with "normal" in the filename and some not?

normal_ is the prefix for the intermediate photo.

if you upload a pic (e.g. called "mypic.jpg") and add it to coppermine's database, there will be 3 files in in the end (e.g. "mypic.jpg", "thumb_mypic.jpg" and "normal_mypic.jpg").

There will not be a 'normal'pic if the original is smaller than the size of intermediate pics set in config.  That's why some have, and some have not got normal copies.
