the turkisch language file hasn't been translated fully yet. The translator used the german lang file as base. That's why you see a lot of german phrases.

I cannot see any German strings in your gallery. Please post a link or a screenshot.

see his earlier post:

Screenshot is Turkish. As Stramm already mentioned, the German language file has used as base for the Turkish translation, but it's not completed yet. If some strings are missing, the English language file is used as fallback. So it can happen that three different languages appear on your gallery.

i am using english lang. file.
Please stop your chaotic behavior if you really want help. If you use the English language file, you website won't be displayed in Turkish.

for clarification...

Coppermine uses language autodetect. -> turkish lang file's getting used, browser stores that setting for that user in a cookie
Admin turns off lang autodetect or changes default language -> browser has stored what language to use in a cookie -> it loads that setting and continues using the turkish lang file (till the viewing user chooses to use another language or clears the cookie)

So I guess the threadstarter just changed the default language in the admin but sill sees the turkish/ german mix. But that is expected beahviour.

Open the turkish lang file in an editor as I told you. Open the english one as well. You'll see what has been translated and what's still in german. Replace the german parts with the ones from the english lang file or vice versa.
And now you can start to translate :)

I'm looking forward to your contribution. If you still have questions... I'm here

Resolve your threads
If you have found an answer to your question, resolve your thread. Don't just post "I have found the answer", but tell others what you actually did to solve your issues. Posting a link to the page where you found the answer might help. Describing what you did might help as well. Finally, you can tag your answer as "solved" by clicking on the little image (see attachment) in your initial posting on your thread.

The main issue I could see is the fact that Sitki hasn't based his translation on the English language file, but on the German language file. Subsequently, all untranslated passages will shine through in German, which is fine for Turks living in Germany. The actual fallback feature of Coppermine is meant to show untranslated strings in English, that's why I have changed the Turkish language file in rev 7855 to only contain the lines that actually have been translated so far. For those who want fallback to German, the older version is fine. For all others, use rev 7855 or better.
