Hi,
     I want to enable comments - I have looked through the documentation but can't work it out. I don't want others to upload images just comments - how is this done?
Thanks

Brian

Check the settings in the groups panel - http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#group_cp.

Please post a link as per the board rules in future.

*edit - Nibbler beat me to it.

That is what I did and couldn't work it out - if public upload is set to yes does this create a comments box or does it mean users can upload their own files?

Thanks

First thing to do is upgrade! Your gallery is at risk being so far behind.
<!--Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.4.19 (stable)-->
Click Downloads above for the latest stable version - use the Documentation link for detailed instructions.

Go to Config >> General Settings > Enable Help Icons  --- Set to Yes and Save.

This will give you help pop-ups that will help you to learn.

In future postings please post the direct link to your Coppermine, not just your entry pages.
