The index-page is defined for example by "breadcrumb/random,1/catlist/alblist/random,1".

Is it possible to define the random a bit? For example with "random(cat7),2"?

No, that type of specification is not possible with the current code.

No problem, it was just an idea but the gallery is more than good enough without this code.
