Tried to install coppermine onto my custom domain website
« on: March 25, 2010, 12:28:41 am »

My website was working perfectly fine, untill i changed the host to my own domain (http://PumPurpRick.co.uk)
The coppermine file is 1.4.26 (stable)

It appears there is something wrong with maybe a database or the file /functions.inc.php - Line: 250

There was an error while processing a database query.
While executing query "SELECT * FROM cpg14x_pictures WHERE approved = 'YES'  ORDER BY RAND() LIMIT 8" on 0

mySQL error: Got error 28 from storage engine

i have enabled de-bug mode for all users so if you need to go see the error report your self you can.

Thanks for anyhelp in advance  ;)

Error 28 usually means mysql has limited or no space available for your database files. Resolve this issue by contacting your host.

I'm using about 8% of my available space. I don't understand why it was down for about 20 hours

Ask your webhost then if this bothers you. Things don't get fixed on their own; usually the webhoster corrects things even if you don't complain, based on their monitoring results. The message you got relates to the space that your mysql database is consuming; it does not deal with your webspace. Your webspace is the drive capacity of the webserver's hard drive that you're allowed to use on file system level. The database resides somewhere else.
This issue is mot related to initial install, moving thread accordingly.
Here on the Coppermine support board you should resolve your thread properly as per board rules.
