Additionally, post a deep link to one of the files you're having issues with when batch-adding.

Can you do everything outlined in the docs as per Joachim's second link?

eg, post a user account with upload privileges, enable single file uploads, check upload approval is disabled etc....

The directory where up_ok.gif resides is CHMOD to 711 (or lower) though probably not recursive, as I was able to view the individual files, just not the directory index. I've checked my own CPG as well as a few others here and we're all either 644 or 755.

http://neddate.nl/coppermine/images/up_ok.gif can be viewed, however http://neddate.nl/coppermine/images/ cannot be browsed, hence the probable non-recursive setting.

Nonetheless, perhaps try changing the permissions on http://neddate.nl/coppermine/images/ to 755 (recursive) and see if that helps any.

I tried what you suggested to CMOD the dir. to 755 but I still don't get the sign after batch uploading...
The upload itself works fine and I gess the whole thing is a minor issue with I can live with  ;D
thanks for the responds!

The only other thing I can think of is to batch add a few files, then right click the "red x" and check the file path's properties. Compare the file path to see if there's a simple broken link in the output and correct as necessary. And, when you right-click to verify image address, copy and paste it into your browser and try to access the file itself.

Also, check the server error logs and access logs and look for 404 or 403 relative to your IP and the files (images) in question.

Or you could just download a fresh copy of CPG and see if that solves the issue.
