Gallery for users upon regisration
« on: March 02, 2010, 03:18:06 am »

IS there a way that when somebody registers there is a public gallery made with their username and that be the only place they can upload ?

In coppermine's groups control panel, allow registered users to upload to their personal gallery, but not to allow to public (i.e. admin-created) albums. The personal albums created by users are accessible by everyone (unless you explicitely specify otherwise). For details, respect board rules!

Thanks, I changed the Groups. Is there a way I can (or a mod) make it so their personal gallery is automatically created for them ? Some people just want to upload a pic and not have to create a gallery first.

www.clanwta.com/gallery is the link.

Self-Hosting is not recommended (your favicon shows the XAMP-logo, which suggests that you are webhosting, using a package that is not meant for webhosting, but for educational and testing purposes on a local net only).
I can not recommend creating a personal gallery for every user on registration, as this causes a huge overhead: usually, only a small minority if users actually uploads something. Anyway, try Automatically Create Album When User Registers
