Where should I past Google Analytics code ?
« on: December 19, 2009, 06:51:32 pm »

HI,

I am a new register user in G. Analytics, and I am not sure, where to put a code, to get the correct statistics?

It seems to me, it must be in theme/template.html file in somewhere between <head></head>

Am I right?

Why not try it and see? Google will very quickly tell you if you get it wrong.

It needs to go into themes/yourtheme/template.html, at the end of the body section, right above the closing
Code: [Select]
</body>tag, exactly as suggested on the google analytics page.
