Full sixze image is very large
« on: December 03, 2009, 01:04:53 pm »

This is probably a dumb question from a newbie, but here goes. I have installed 1.4.16 on my hosted server. Uploaded a lot of picture. It all works a treat except when I click on the intermediate image the resulting image in the pop up is huge. I can't figure out how to scale it. The images seemed OK before I uploaded the.

Any help would be appreciated.

The latest version of coppermine is 1.4.25 so I am guessing that you have used your hosts installer to install your outdated version.

Please upgrade to the latest version using a copy downloaded from this site. It is quite easy if you read the docs (which also tell you how to setup coppermine to resize the images). At the moment you are at risk of being hacked.

This is one of the many reasons we cannot support installs made by host based installers as 99% of them get something wrong.

Additionally, pleas post a link to your site with every post as per the board rules. It is very hard to diagnose problems unless we can see what is going on.
