Sys Menu Issue

I have an issue with the menu at the top of my gallery that I can't figure out.  When using Internet Explorer the "Home" link that is part of the SYS_MENU shows up on the line above the other links rather than on the same line with them.  If anyone could tell me how to fix this I'd greatly appreciate it. Which version of IE is this in? IE8 shows the menu as it should.

I fixed my original issue. In my file english.php I had this line of code

'home_lnk' => '<h5>Home',   

I put the <h5> in there originally to make the links have a larger font. So when I removed the <h5> my original issue was corrected.  But now my question is what is the proper way to affect the font size of your SYS_MENU?
