Hello everybody,

I just have installed Coppermine on my dedicated server, but I have a weird problem when I want to upload an image inside an album: the whole server is freezed, and the only way to get back control over it is to hardware reboot it 

I've searched on google and this forum for clues to help me to solve that, but without any success...

I've defined the upload_tmp_dir of php, the uploads are allowed, I really don't understand what is going on.

You did quite the opposite of what you should do . Read up board rules. Read up the docs, section "asking for support on upload issues". Do as suggested there, but keep in mind that we can't teach you how to set up your webserver in the first place - that's beyond the scope of this board. Self-hosting is not recommended btw.
