UPLOAD problem
« on: September 23, 2009, 12:19:47 am »

I have still installed and configured.

I have created a public album and a user TDMitalia which is selected User can upload file.
User TDMitalia is in Registered group. In this gropu is selected Allow upload in public album.

I try to upload pics by XP Web Publishing Wizard, I configured all fine, I login with user TDMitalia but I don't see the public album that I created.
If I login with administrator user I see it.

If I upload single pics by HTTP I can put pics in public album.

Can you help me? Why I can't upload pics in public album by XP Web Publishing Wizard?

You haven't done as suggested: the number of URI uploads is set to one although it should be set to zero. Review, then post back here.

Not sure what you mean: http uploads works as expected (see http://www.tdmitalia.net/cphotogallery/displayimage.php?pos=-6).
http://www.tdmitalia.net/cphotogallery/xp_publish.php shows up as expected. The registry file looks OK as well, this is the content:
Code: [Select]
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\PublishingWizard\PublishingWizard\Providers\TDMitalia Photo Gallery]
"displayname"="TDMitalia Photo Gallery"
"description"="La galleria fotografica di TDMitalia"
"href"="http://www.tdmitalia.net/cphotogallery/xp_publish.php?cmd=publish"
"icon"="http://www.tdmitalia.net/favicon.ico"
Can't tell you more, as I don't have the Windows Publishing Wizard available.
Can you attach a screenshot to your next posting that illustrates your issue?

Yes, http upload work fine, but not upload by Windows Publishing Wizard.

I correctly update my registry with file .reg.
I select my pic, choose publish on web (I translate, I have an italian windows), select TDMitalia photo gallery, insert user and password (test, test), I don't find 'Village2009' album.
I see the attached windows.

You need to use Internet Explorer to log in to your site. Using any other browser is not an option. Why? Ask Microsoft why they insist on people using their products.

No need to set that crap as default browser. Just start it, go to your gallery, log in and then leave it as it is. Start the Windows Explorer and use the Publishing Wizard.
