I have already made extensive changes to many of the same files included in the pack.  Thus, I can either lose them all, not use the pack, or install the pack, and spend several hours making all the mods I have already done by hand...AGAIN!!! 

I wish the mods for this worked more like the mods for SMF...  where it just makes the changes it needs...doesn't replace the entire file.  Or am I just missing this ability???

ps:  I was really wanting the features in this, but not sure if I want to redo hours of hand modifications...  This pack looks amazing, and exactly what I wanted.

You could use a diff viewer and see what changes have been done, then apply these to your files. However I doubt that this is less work for you.
