Could be nice to have a tree page (without thumbails) showing all the categories and links to the albums. So all album coulb reachable directely witout passing thrue the categorie page.

I am almost done with this mod - pondering on how to integrate - on first thoughts it will be an admin setable option which will allow a tree menu to be shown when mouse is placed over the Album List link.....

what I though about was more simple. All my albums are sorted in categories a, b, c , ... This is a very comon way to order albums.
So what could be nice would be to have on the index page a list of all category and below clickable names of albums without thumbail, like that, on a single page the visitor can reach any album easyly without going thrue the first page of album then the album page. :

Or one other way to have a tree view on all categories and albums is to have it the same way the view is like when you take a look at the batch add pictures page, when your logged in as admin.

That way you get it like

/userpics/
            /albums
                      /categorie 1
                                      /album 1
                                      /album 2
                                      /album 3

And then you can even put folder icons in front of a new album indicating its new or not. Does this make sense ?
