Here I have some photo's that suddenly dissapeared... I don't know how, but i think it's maybe because 2 times a file with the same name has been uploaded ? Is that a well known bug and can you do something about it ?

Impossible to advise anything, as you failed to do as suggested per board rules.

No, in that case the file automatically get's renamed.

Is that a well known bug
No. Shouting bug is not a bright idea. Instead, you should do as suggested per board rules when asking for support.

You've been told what we need to support you in another old thread (that you failed to resolve, which is something that makes supporters reluctant to look into your issues). From the old thread:
Post a link to your gallery please.
As you can see: the questions may differ, but our replies remain the same.

@ Jeroen07,

You could have been hacked, you need to upgrade before returning for support (or doing anything else.....)

<!--Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.4.19 (stable)-->

Is way out of date and vulnerable to hackers!

If you were indeed hacked then read this: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,51927.0.html

I don't think i'm hacked since i only miss 10 or 20 photo's from a total of 7.000

But I'll update this evening.

By the way, whats the most easy way to update you database ? Make a backup of the tabels in your control panel and download the whole map using FTP  ?

Thanks in advance

We have a strict "one issue per thread" policy that you agreed to respect when signing up. The upgrade process is being described in the docs. Read that first. Start a thread of it's own if you still have open questions after having read the docs.
Locking.
