Hi There,

I have a client that wants to have it so that when someone clicks on a language a specific song will be played. Will get the client to provide all songs. I am looking for costs and time frames. Once I get these I can let the client know and we can go from there. If you can provide samples of mods you have done to coppermine that would be great.

Thank you

Where/when does the song should be played? Automatically once the language is changed? On every page load? All the time?

Yes the song should be played automatically when they click on that language and will loop until they select another language.

Hm. As the song will be interrupted and played from the beginning on every page load, it could be done only with a popup/extra page.

Is there anyway that you could have a specific page script for all the
pages in one album, because all the images in the album have the album name.

If not, is there a way that you could set up a the music to play when
the slide show icon is clicked?

Just set the numbers for pictures per page high enough in the config page.

the slide show icon is clicked?
Should be easy.

Try Music for your site. That's an iframe solution that could easily be converted into a pop-up as well. Keep in mind that both techniques (iframe vs. pop-up) have great disadvantages. On-sitte music sucks imo unless you run a site dedicated to a musician / music that justifies the use of music. Different songs for different languages should be auto-detected: coppermine is capable to auto-detect the visitor's prefered language - you should use a similar method as well to play the corresponding music for the visitor.

Does the client like to pay, too? >:(

Sorry for being a little bit harsh, but I haven't get paid once before after the work was done!

@eenemeenemuu: you have an excellent reputation on this forum, but usually the people who ask for paid support and custom coding are nobodys on this here, so imo it wouldn't be bad if you demanded payment in advance before even starting to work in the first place.

Totally agree.

[Off topic:] I think that experienced members (members from the cpg forum with more than 100 post)  must receive a 50% of the payment before starting and the 50% of the total when the work is finished. It's like a "Waranty" like every freelancer website has.[/Off topic]
