my batch upload tool's working for some folders and not others. The folders are definitely in there, I've checked file permissions and don't want to play with too many files in fear of loosing the folders which do show up. I've taken screen shots of the bulk uploader in both the 'photoshoots' folder which does work and the 'events_&_premiers' which doesn't and the FTP program to show the file permissions and that the folders are definitely in there.

I created a test account which is:
username: test
password: test123
This hasn't been given any powers and wont be unless I'm directed too because that didn't seem clever if giving the password out here.

Any idea why it's working for some folders and not others? All settings are exactly the same in both folders and any folders within the parent ones.

Actual link to gallery appears to be http://sofia-vassilieva.fansites.me/gallery/, although there's reference to the page http://liliana-mumy.net/gallery/ as well in the navigation (which doesn't work as expected BTW).
Refer to docs, section "asking for support on upload issues" to figure out what privileges and settings the test user account needs: the number of file upload fields is not correct nor the number of URI upload fields, nor did you enable debug_mode as suggested.

Yes: avoid spaces, special chars and capitalization in folder and file names as per docs.

Aditionally, you need to upgrade, as you have cpg1.4.20, while the most recent stable release currently is cpg1.4.25.

sorry about the link, I'd copy pasted, must have forgotten to add the /gallery to the end. The main site's still being coded which is the reason for the nav link being different.

Have enabled debug mode and set the permissions. The original issue was fixed with removing all spaces and special chars but I'm now getting a 'No new file was found' message after clicking ok on the list of images. The images aren't in the gallery, none are.

When trying http uploads I get the error message

Destination directory albums/sofia_vassilievauserpics/ is not writable by the script !

which shows that you appear to have messed with the paths and that you have enabled silly_safe_mode although you should not.
You appear to have uploaded zero files yet (or at least zero files are available for the test user account to see), so you need to fix http uploads first before looking into batch uploads.

Our webhost sourceforge.net is currently redesigning their site, so those errors are to be expected. Try again later. The deep download link for the actual release (http://sourceforge.net/projects/coppermine/files/Coppermine/cpg1.4.25.zip) works as expected for me btw. as well as the downloads page at http://sourceforge.net/projects/coppermine/files/

The only path I'd changed has now been changed back which appears to have fixed it, thanks so much for the help. Will upgrade asap =D
