Can't upload Pictures via Coppermine nor FTP
« on: June 26, 2009, 11:39:55 am »

Okay here's my problem:

I set the permissions of my whole galley to 0755 (because 0777 is not working), and I mean with "whole" the first "gallery" folder on my public_html. I know this might have caused the issues but I would be happy if you could help me out!

You can access to the gallery and see the pictures I have uploaded before I changed the CHMOD, but now everytime I upload a picture, it can't be moved to an album, not the thumbnail appears.

Same for the Batch upload.

link to gallery:
http://phoenix-farrell.celebfans.org/gallery/

user: test
password: test123
(registered user because I dont know if it had to be an administrator)

I searched on the forum but couldn't find a solution to my issue.
I tried this:
http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#upload_trouble

I added the debug console of upload and groups.
Please tell me if you need more information!

I will be so thankful if you could help me out!

Best,
ana

You should first upgrade your Coppermine. Your version is out of date.

Then return if you still have the issue.

Just to be sure...Have you run your Version Check tool from the admin menu?
(be sure that you have the correct directory structure in albums)

Method for resizing images in admin/config - what are you using? GD or Image Magick?

Did you try to assign 777 level to the albums directory?

Yes, anycontent.php can be carried into the newer version. That is in the documents.

You have some other red in your versioncheck - I suggest making that green.

Also, can you try changing to GD?
