Parse error: syntax error straight after installation
« on: June 25, 2009, 06:48:58 pm »

I'm not sure whether this is a miscellaneous error, or one relating to installation - but I can see a similar post on this subforum, so I'll post it here!

I have just completed my install, which went without a hitch. However, when I try to navigate to the gallery in order to log in, I get the following error message:

Quote
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '(',expecting ')' in /home/fhlinux145/t/tomandjenni.enharmonic.co.uk/user/htdocs/gallery/include/debugger.inc.php on line 86

Does anyone have any ideas as to what I should do? I suspect I've done something wrong, although I tried my best to follow all the instructions! Any advice would be greatly appreciated - thank you!

Sorry, thought the link was discernable from the error message. The address for the gallery is http://tomandjenni.enharmonic.co.uk/gallery/.

The file the error message complains about is broken. Get a fresh copy and re-upload it, overwriting the broken file on the server.
