Please read

/docs/readme.htm

the block is called

anycontent.php

And if you want to "show it", you add in admin mode

after catlist/alblist ...  anycontent

at the bottom of the index CPG, you'll see by default "Welcome"

You put the title you want ... and here all html you want (or css/dhtml/picutres ...)

In the theory, yes.

You can edit in template.html if you want a permanent block on all pages, for examples ... or put dhtml news in the top.

Code is become very easy in 1.2
