Problem with batch upload
« on: June 21, 2009, 09:42:01 pm »

Hello !

I have a recent problem that need to be solved.

I used to upload +300files through ftp and then adding them to the albums and it worked well.
But now, i have uploaded +500files and when i try to put them into the album it doesn't work, i have no error message, it just leaves the "searchnew.php" page totally blank. (i've attached a screenshot)
I searched on google but didn't find anything, that's why i'm posting there..

URL of my gallery : http://galerie.annedecisfan.net/
test account : login : testcpg - pass : **** [Edit GauGau] Removed admin password [/Edit]
Album through ftp : pblv/s5/1244

I hate to sound like a scratched record but.... <!--Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.4.14 modpack v1 (stable)-->

Upgrade and then we can help if it still fails. The current version is 1.4.24

Once you have done that, read the following section of the manual.

Do as suggested in the section of the docs that you have been told to read! We have nothing to say if you don't do as suggested there. You have posted an admin account on this public board, which is a very silly thing to do. I have edited out the password in the above posting and I have changed the password on your site as well. You're only causing extra moderation effort.
Your menu "Accueil    s'identifier    S'inscrire    derniers ajouts    Quitter    Retour au Forum" is hardcoded, which is silly, as the login link then remains even if you have already logged in. The "return to forum" link is broken as well.
http uploads work as expected - see http://galerie.annedecisfan.net/displayimage.php?pos=-5428
Batch-adding results in a blank screen for me as well, no matter what theme I use. The status page of my browser shows that there is constant traffic between the browser and the server before the communication times out, so maybe you're running into suhosin limitations (see http://galerie.annedecisfan.net/phpinfo.php) - I suggest reviewing one of the existing threads that deal with suhosin limitations and how to circumvent them.

Sorry for not noticing that was an Admin password (as Joachim says, a very silly thing to do). I decided not to log on until the version was updated. Well done on updating.
