Latest Albums
« on: May 30, 2009, 04:41:40 pm »

Hey!
I have a little question. I use coppermine gallery and I don´t like the "latest uploads". I see many gallerys that has "latest albums" (like this one: http://robertpattinson.4fans.net/photos/). On a old gallery of mine I had this too so I know that I must change something in the index.php code but I don´t know what. It would be great if someone could help me.
Thank you!
xx Jessi

By forum rule you should always post the link to your gallery.

So is reading the docs, your problem is simple, start here

Change lastup to lastalb in config (content of the main page setting).

You mean the config.php on the main page?
I search on this script and it say that there is no "lastup"

To get rid of a meta album, do as suggested here: http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#changing
To get rid of the menu item, use the final extract plugin.
I'm not aware of "latest uploads", only of "last uploads".

You have been told that you need to post a link to your gallery, so why don't you do as suggested?

Joachim

P.S.

I can't see how the "List of tokens in template.html" could be related, so please ignore that

Hmm.....I think I didn´t explain it very good because my english is not so good.
But thank you really much to all who replay. ;-)
The standard of the coppermine gallery are the fields "category", "randoms" and "last uploads" but I want "last albums".
But I can´t set this in the options on the admin pannel. I must change something in the config or index script.

The default setting you describe is breadcrumb/catlist/alblist/random,2/lastup,2
If you want last albums instead of last uploads you need to change lastup to lastalb which means you need to set breadcrumb/catlist/alblist/random,2/lastalb,2

You already have been told to post a link to your gallery
By forum rule you should always post the link to your gallery.
You have been told that you need to post a link to your gallery, so why don't you do as suggested?
You ignored that both times. I will not tolerate that (I have my reasons), so post the link to your gallery now or you'll get no more support >:(.

Google says that the URL is harmfull, see http://safebrowsing.clients.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?client=Firefox&hl=en&site=http://robpix.fanfilled.com/
The site probably is hacked. Looking at the page with Dillo I found
Code: [Select]
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="http://t0.ca/tags/fanilled/728x90.js"></script>Sanitize as suggested in Yikes, I've been hacked! Now what? instead of being picky about meta albums... ::)
