[Solved]: FTP - Upload?
« on: March 12, 2004, 05:17:19 pm »

Hello everyone,

I've just installed coppermine but I can't properly see the upload via FTP. I can choose the pictures but when I want to put them online, it gives NA in red and I don't understand.

Can you help me please?

Mehmet

FTP - Upload?

Hi Mehmet,

to upload by ftp, you have to use your ftp program.  Create new folders in your coppermine/albums/ folder, but not in the userpics folder.
You can have whatever directory structure you want there.  Make sure you chmod these new folders to the same as the albums folder.  Ftp the pics into these folders, then use the 'batch upload' tool.

Make sure the pics you upload by ftp are valid formats, and not too big.

Thanks Casper,

I found my mistake, i feel silly  :)  N/A means no album because I wasn't choose any album. I just created new album and put the picture in the right place. Easy to say... :)
