unusual request :-)
« on: May 13, 2009, 07:30:33 pm »

[Edit GauGau] Warning: the links in this posting are not safe for work [/Edit]

Ok.

I  have got a 6 albums in 1 category.

Now, I want to change ( or swap with another album) the number of this album.

For example, to make it easier:
I got albums called "nice girls"  http://www.foto-wpadka.pl/thumbnails.php?album=2

and i got albums called "nice boy" http://www.foto-wpadka.pl/thumbnails.php?album=10

Now i want to  swap the numbers of those albums
nice girls http://www.foto-wpadka.pl/thumbnails.php?album=10
and nice boys http://www.foto-wpadka.pl/thumbnails.php?album=2

How to do that ?

Could be done by going straight into the database and change each album ID, but you would have to change the pictures to which album they should reside in also within the database, why would you want to do this anyway, i see no clear purpose.

I can't see the point in the question neither - it doesn't make sense to fiddle with the album IDs - they are technology and don't matter to the end user. To me it seems you try to promote your site and nothing else. Anyway, the link you posted is not work-safe. Read up board rules:
8. Post links
When posting a support request, it's helpfull for supporters in most cases to see what the actual page looks like, that's why it's recommended that you always post a link to your coppermine gallery page when asking for support. If your site contains adult content, make sure to post a warning together with your link!

Supporters might get into issues if they accidentally visit a page that interferes with their employer's internet policy. If your site contains adult content (even mild nudity even falls into this category), post the words "not safe for work" next to the link.
I have edited your above posting accordingly. Respect board rules in the future!
