batch add and category
« on: April 30, 2009, 11:21:13 am »

hi,

I'm new with coppermine and would like some advices regarding Categories & albums imports.

On the filesystem i have a hierarchy like that :
albums/
    +-Photos/
            +-dir001
            +-dir002
            +-dirxxx

Actually I have 1 category named "photos" where inside I have to import theses several photos albums (dir001 to dirxxx).

My problem is simple, each time I want to import photos with ftp/batch-add to coppermine, pictures are imported directly in the category i choose (not in a sub category based on the filesystem directory name).
I want to keep my view like in the filesystem tree ; Is there a way to automaticaly create sub-category or albums and store imported photos inside ? And btw to not create category/albums name manually (i have more than 250 folders)

Thanks for your help.
