Edit Files - View User Ownership

Hi,

   Is there any way to show user ownership of pictures in "Edit Files" (besides going to thumbnail mode). Being able to "Edit Files" for only a particular user would be helpful too. I need to juggle around alot of pictures based on who posted it.
