[Solved]: "register.php?activate=xxx does not exist"
« on: April 23, 2009, 08:43:33 pm »

"404 Not Found
The requested URL /register.php?activate=xxx does not exist"

Two days ago a user got this. today in working to resolve my own corrupted password I got this, too.

I also got this in the password resolution problem...
"404 Not Found
The requested URL /forgot_passwd.php?key=xxx=1 does not exist."

I just upgraded to v1.4.21 and still get the problems. I searched the forum and cannot find a reference to this.

Unfortunately I am architectural photographer in san francisco not a tech. I really need some help because I don't know where to start.

P.S. I tried adding a slash to the tail end of the url = no joy.

You probably have the gallery url set wrong in config. Can't be sure without a link to your gallery.

Problem solved!

Thank you, Nibbler.

I had changed the url of the gallery in config because I wanted the header to lead back to my home page rather than the index of the gallery without getting inside the code. I have reset it to standards and everything works as it was intended.

Link to my gallery is http://www.djbphoto.com/gallery

Again thanks for resolving the problem I caused.
