database question
« on: April 30, 2004, 11:30:05 pm »

I use coppermine with a big database. But the same database is used for other php programs (php bb ... big also) .
Is it good to have only one database with a lot of differents tables for diffrerent scripts or is it better to have different database dedicated for one script? Why ?

thank you for your answer

If you are bridging, it is best to use the same database for both.

It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here
