I thought it was because I hadn't upgraded from 1.4.18 so I upgraded that and I'm still having the same problem.  I've uploaded the images I want using FTP, they show up and work just fine (http://ucillian.com/photos/albums/Candids/2009/Jerry%27s%20Club/), but when I go through to Batch Add them to the gallery, as soon as I get to the directory no files will show up in the box.  I checked permissions to make sure they were set on 777 and they are.  I tried to manually upload one as a test using the "Upload File" link and it worked fine (after I set the permissions!; http://ucillian.com/photos/displayimage.php?album=259&pos=0).  I went ahead and turned on the debug info since I'm not sure how long I'll be away from the computer today, and I've included images to try and illustrate the problem.

In short: Files are listed fine in FTP but won't show up in the Batch Add directory (and when I look through old folders they do).

Avoid using spaces and special characters in folder names. Rename the folder and see if that helps.

You're joking.

It was that simple.  Wow.  For future reference...!  Thank you!
