Album List Missing...Corrupted Tables?
« on: April 30, 2004, 02:28:48 pm »

Hi!  I have been installing CP on a new server for a friend, and after installing, I received the error notices:

Notice: Undefined index: cat_albums in /****/******/******/themes/theme.php on line 1110

Notice: Undefined index: cat_thumb in /****/******/******/themes/hardwired/theme.php on line 1108

And the album list is missing, even though it is listed in the page contents in config.
I have searched the board and haven't found any one with this exact error.  I have found posts regarding corrupted tables which caused similar errors.

Just wondering if anyone else has received these notices and if so, if a table re-build helped?

It is not of great concern to have the Album List displayed, but I am worried about the stability of the system for the future...

Thanks so much!

Jason

Do these notices appear all the time, or just when in debug mode.  Notices are not normally a problem.

Try another theme.

And you say the album list is missing.  Is the 'show first level albums thumbnails' set to yes in config.

Casper, the notices appear in debug mode...

All themes are effected...

Whether 'show first level albums thumbnails' is yes or no, I get the same result...

Though I have anycontent/catlist/alblist/lastup,1/random,1 in the config, the output I get is:

anycontent
categories
last uploaded
random pics

Hmmm...

Hmmm...

Is there a file that cat_thumb is defined in?  Perhaps I should re-load that one....

Don't worry about the notices in debug mode, just warnings.

Have you actually created any albums yet?

Can you not give us a link?

The category thumbnail is only available in version 1.3, for which there is no support yet.
But that is unrelated to the question about the album list.

I am going to start from scratch and do a clean upload of 1.2.

Ugh, I need to drink some coffee and organize my files...thanks for your help...
