[Solved]: Importing images: One at a time?
« on: March 15, 2009, 06:55:37 am »

Hi I'm new to Coppermine which runs great except for one issue that keeps me from running it.

Whenever I import a lot of pictures from my local server it tries to make thumbnails of too many of the files at once.  As a result I get a call from my hosting service (Hostgator) and they tell me I'm using 50% of the server's CPU.  Is there a way to limit coppermine to only working on one file at a time?  I know it would be really slow but I'm ok with that to be honest.

Thank you!

You're probably refering to the batch-add process, correct?

Try the Plugin "CPGMassImport".
